Short's Fawn Rescue is Hosting a 5K Run/Walk event in Dryden, MI, on April 5th, 2025 at 10:00 am. the race will be held on the Polly Ann Trail, starting and ending near Dryden Memorial Park, and Mulholland drive, turning around near the bridge over Belle River. We will be using Mitch Miller Race Timing for the event and race results will be available immediately as you cross the finish line. Online registration is available at: Fawn5K.itsyourrace.com.
Registration fees are as follows: Early Registration (January 21st - March 1st) is $25.00, Regular Registration (March 2nd - April 4th) is $30.00 and Late Registration (April 5th) is $35.00. Event Shirts are available and are optional. You may choose a 50/50 cotton blend for $18.00 (Sm - XL), or a Polyester Tek shirt for $21.00 (sm - XL); for 2XL add $4.00, and for 3XL add $6.00. Event shirts ordered by March 21st will be available at the event, and shirts ordered after March 21st will require an additional $7.50 to cover drop shipping direct to your home (after the event).
An optional Sponsor sheet is available for download at https://www.Facebook.com/shortsrescue2021 and give the participant a chance to collect donations to help support the rescue. In addition, runners who collect at least $50 in donations will be awarded a $25 Gift Card, and participants collecting $100, or more will be awarded a $25 gift card and given special recognition as a thank you for your support.
Awards will be provided at the event, as participants cross the finish line and timing is confirmed - no waiting around!
Short’s Fawn Rescue is a 501 c(3) nonprofit serving Lapeer County and the surrounding area. We are DNR licensed (WR-335) to rescue sick, injured and orphaned fawns, providing passionate, healing, care to sick, injured, and orphaned fawns, saving lives, and giving second chances. There is no monetary compensation from state or federal sources for what we do. We rely entirely on donations and fundraising to keep the doors open.
